‘Inside ENCE’ | Original Soundtrack | Documentary

I was privileged to get the chance to compose an original soundtrack for a documentary called 'Inside ENCE' directed by Tommi Hakko.

The storyline is centred on the teams’ veteran player Aleksi ‘allu’ Jalli and the new prodigy, 16-year old Jere ‘sergej’ Salo. Aleksi is a mentor for all of the players in the lineup, but most of all to the youngest member of the squad, who in 2017 already showcased his potential and with ENCE in 2018 started to fulfil it. See how Jere's parents and family support him as he has to take decisions regarding his education and how he wants to prioritize things currently - Ence.gg

The original idea of the overall sound of the music was very much based on the CS and similar game soundtrack concepts; epic, massive, heroic, hybrid. In the end, the soundtrack turned out to be something else as there’s a touch of sensitivity under all the fireworks. Tommi Hakko did a splendid job covering the story that’s really about friendship, achieving goals and working together as a team.

The documentary has gathered over 1 million views on Yle Areena YouTube channel.

Watch the full documentary below (with English subtitles).
